it's about bloody time, eh?!!

So I think it’s beyond time I say Thank You to you guys.

Generally, I try to make my Thank You’s more personal and via email if I can but sometimes there is no email address to reply to (just the no-reply-comment@blogger one) and I don’t really comment on my own blog posts because it’s too hard/time consuming (remember I blog mainly at work- shhhhh, our secret). Regardless… it’s beyond time I scream it:

Thank You for commenting (especially on posts like the one below).

I especially want to thank those of you who have contacted me directly (via the email in the Contact me tab). I’ve gotten a few emails here and there from some who actually thank me for my honest take on things- like being an old fart of a mom, for example. And that’s a HUGE compliment to me because it means that I’m making a connection and for me, that’s writing is all about. It’s really the only way I know how to communicate with others… It’s why this blog exists and why it’s open to the public.

Sure I love to share pictures of the love of my life because why deny the world of her adorableness, but I also need a place to express myself sometimes. And sometimes, it may be a bit rough to get through- for me and the reader. But it’s why I’m here.
