Monday Morning Madness

I got AF last night. Again. WTF.

I prepared Lovie's bottles last night for today's daycare. Like I do every single night. Only this time I left them sit on the counter all night long. WTF.

I have horrid cramps- in the front and the back. WTF.

The highway ramp I use to get on to the expressway in the morning and off in the evening is closed for who knows how long for repair. WTF.

It's Monday. WTF.

Whatever.

All I have to do is look at, or think about, this baby doll of mine:

She's sitting in her crib in this picture. She's been sitting unassisted for about three weeks now. It started out slowly and she'd topple over after a couple seconds. Then she was able to stay up for about 30 seconds and last week she was able to sit for several minutes before flopping over.

Then this past weekend, we were visiting her grandfather and we had Lovie sit on the floor and play with a soccer ball (it's World Cup time dontcha know!). Twenty minutes later she was still SITTING there trying to get this ginormous ball into her mouth.

Then yesterday the same thing: she just sits and plays with stuff. And is content as can be. In fact, I'd venture to guess that she's even happier these days then in days past and she's been a pretty happy baby since birth!

We're so blessed.

So F off Monday Morning Madness!!

Everything You Ever Wanted

Here's the emptiness I've spoken of the past couple days... I just hate seeing the back seat of the car this way. I much prefer just the car seat base or, better yet, the cutest baby in the world smiling up at me!

Argh.

In other news, Aunt Flo finally decided to visit (again... see my Michelle Duggar post for more info) which definitely explains the anger, short fuse, and emotional roller coaster ride I've been on the past week or so.

And as much as I despise PMS and AF, my Lovie makes it all better, makes it all go away. Last night after showing the husband that Lovie is super close to sitting on her own (so stinkin' cute my teeth hurt thinking about it!) and putting her down for the night (she fell right to sleep because she didn't nap much again at day care and stayed awake with me when we got home until bedtime), he said to me, "It's times like this when it feels like you have everything you ever wanted in life."

He said it kind of like a question and my only-had-a-half-cup-of-coffee-so-far brain can't really come up with exactly what he said right now. I replied, "Absolutely," and smiled thinking about how absolutely, insanely incredible life is right now.

"Am I lame for feeling like this really is it, like I really do have everything I ever could want out of life right now?"

"Not at all," he replied.

We're so fucking blessed.

I'm jealous of Michelle Duggar

I'm not kidding.

Bitch probably has had her period less times in the past 20 years than I've had this year alone!

I really hate Aunt Flo!

annnnnd now...

The cramps have become more severe and now flows the blood.

What a month! :(
  • Get my first post-partum period - only two months after giving birth!
  • Start bringing Lovie to daycare while I start back to work.
  • Lovie gets her first stuffy nose.
  • I get the cold from hell with horrendous coughing fits that last more than a week long - am put on antibiotics as a result.
  • Get diarrhea as a result of the antibiotics.
  • Get a hemorrhoid flare-up as a result of all the shitting (OUCH!).
  • My cooch starts itching for like a week as a result of the antibiotics.
  • And now I have my period. Again.

Fuck.
this.
month.
